Performing Arts Physio – a subsidiary of Physio Asia Therapy Centre, is a practice led by Pooja Verma. This is the first physiotherapy practice in Singapore that is solely dedicated to offering specialised care to performing artists.

About Pooja Verma
Passion for the Arts
With over a decade of passion for the Arts, Pooja’s Masters in Performing Arts Medicine (UCL) enabled her to merge professional and personal interests. She engages in local and international Physiotherapy and Performing Arts Medicine communities, contributing to its advancement through presentations and advocacy worldwide.

Pooja, part-time lecturer at LASALLE, teaches Performance Training to BA Musical Theatre students. She has guest lectured for NUS Masters of Theatre Practice and UCL MSc Performing Arts Medicine.

About Wei Ling
Wei Ling is a seasoned pole instructor and performer, which elevates her ability as a performing arts physiotherapist. Aside from pole, she also enjoys (and finds new ways to torture herself with) yoga, aerial hammock, calisthenics, and running.
Passion for the Arts
Wei combines a keen ability to analyse complex movement patterns, with certification from the Performing Arts Medicine Association and mentorship by Dr. Emily Scherb in Circus Medicine, which positions her as a rising expert in this unique field. Having worked with dancers at the Royal Ballet School and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London, she possesses industry-relevant experience to support highly skilled artists.
